Frequently asked questions
The below policies exist to protect me as an independent artist and to respect our time together. I want to be as transparent as possible about the process, so please take the time to read before booking. Feel free to email me if you have any questions!
How do I book an appointment?
Fill out the booking form. It's okay if you are unsure of size and placement, provide the best estimate or options you are leaning towards.
Once you submit the booking form, I will get back to you via email to align on an appointment time, share deposit information, and align on the design if needed. Please look out for an email from me and check spam in case.
For custom projects: I am selective about requests I take on, and I will reach out if its a good fit.
What are your rates?
2025 Rates
$200 min. with $150/hr rate for flash
$250 min. with $200/hr rate for custom projects
Most pieces are priced at a flat rate. This accounts for drawing, time spent tattooing, and materials. Flash are typically around $200-$500 each for up to palm size designs. Whether it’s on the higher or lower end will depend on details, size, placement, and color ink.
For custom pieces, I give a rough quote to give you an idea of the final price based on an hourly rate of $200/hr. For larger pieces, I go by a day rate of $1000. This means 1-2 hours of drawing/stenciling and 5-6 hours of tattooing. If a piece requires multiple sessions, the rate drops to $600-800 per day.
If you are interested in multiple pieces, I will give rough quotes for each. Depending on the designs, I may throw in a discount for a multi-piece session.
Do you offer consultations?
For those interested, I offer in-person or video call consultations to discuss design, placement, and budget - please note this in the booking form to set up a consultation. The deposit is required before scheduling a consultation.
Am I expected to tip?
Tips are not mandatory, and very much appreciated as I get 100% of the tip compared to the price of the tattoo which partially goes to the studio for supplies and booth rental. If you want to get me a non-monetary tip, I like snacks/baked goods/noodles, matcha/coffee, handmade items (ex. knit/crochet, ceramics, jewelry), art reference books, flowers (alive, dried, or pressed).
Policies
I do not tattoo anyone under 18 (even with guardian consent), sun damaged/burnt skin, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
I also do not accept requests for placements on the hand, head/face (this includes lip/ear/behind ear), or genitals.
Deposit policy
To confirm your appointment, I require a $100 security deposit that goes towards the final cost of the tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable if there is a no-show or cancelation.
For custom designs, the deposit is required to begin any drawing and reserve a consultation if requested.
Custom requests
I may decide I am not the right artist for you depending on your vision. Please be mindful that when I take on custom requests, I want to tattoo your specific request. If you change your mind on the design after scheduling an appointment, I may refund the deposit if I have not started the drawing. Any cancelations or changes to the subject matter after a custom drawing is shared (typically a day before at most) will result in forfeiting your deposit.
I share custom designs at the appointment or a day before via email. I take feedback, work on the design, and go through the changes in-person during the appointment.
Bringing guests
One guest is allowed but they may have to wait in the front lobby.
Reschedules
I allow two reschedules, the first at no extra cost, the second with an additional $100 deposit.
Touch-ups
I offer one free touch up (if I agree it is needed) during the first 6 months following the initial appointment date. After that, I charge a reduced hourly rate for touch-ups or small additions on tattoos I've done.
